If you're a beginner, intermediate, or advanced fitness enthusiast, we have a class designed just for you! All of our instructors are experienced, fun and friendly, and know just what to do to keep you motivated.

Zumba

Fun and entertaining Latin dance class with upbeat dance music.
 

Ab Lab

This class focuses on different types of abdominal exercises. This will be sure to get those Abs in shape!
   

Body Blast 1

HIgh repetition weight training in a class format. Designed to compliment any cardiovascular or weight training regimen. The format changes every 6-8 weeks to privide a great body shaping class!
 

Body Blast 2

The same exciting classroom atmosphere weight training like BB-I, but using heavier weights and doing fewer repetitions. This class is designed to increase strength and muscle definition. A great change for paricipants that have been taking BB-I and are ready to take it up a notch.
   

Body Sculpt

This is a class using light weights, designed to sculpt and tone.
 

Booty Blast

Tone and strengthen legs and glutes... and blast that...well, you know.
   

Cardio Kick

High intensity, power packed class that has the components of sports conditioning, boxing, and martial arts to form a killer cardio workout! NOT a dance class!
 

Cardio Pump Kickbox

The class contains a cardio workout, kickbox movements, and strength training.
   

Kickbox Crosstraining

High Inteneisty, power packed clas that has components of sports conditioning and kickboxing. If you enjoyed Cardio Kick, you will like this class too!
 

Mix It Up

This class has a little bit of everything. Its fun, challenging, and a great workout! It changes weekly, so check the schedule in aerobics room.
   

Spin

Performed on an indoor stationary bike. This workout is exhilirating and challenging. It integrates music, motivation and inspiration for a terrific cardiovascular workout. This a challenging class for the everyday fitness enthusiast as well as the competitive cyclist.
 

Sports Flex

This class combines strength and flexibility training.
   

Step

This is a step training workout that is great for improving cardiovascular, strength, and flexibility.
 

Step / Weights

Interval style class that combines step aerobics for cardiovascular, and weight training for strength. Good for all ages and fitness levels.
   

Super Step

This contains the same elements as the Step class, but is designed for more advanced step participants.
 

Yoga

Adresses some of the components of fitness that are often overlooked, like balance, flexibility and coordination. It also has components of strength as well as aids in stress reduction. Set to relaxing music, this class will leave you feeling refreshed and energized!

Group Fitness Coordinator

Pam has done a great job of bringing her many years of experience as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor to the program here at Blue Springs Fitness. She is certified through both A.C.E. and A.F.F.A. as a personal trainer and as a group exercise instructor. At the University level, she spent one year at Kansas University where she was on the tennis and swim teams, she then  transferred to Stanford University where she received a B.A. Later she returned to Kansas University where she earned her Master's Degree. She remained active in sports all through college.

Pam continues to compete in triathlon (including an Ironman in 2004), running, and biking. She also participates in week long cycle tours across the nation. Her racing has taken her as far away as Capetown, South Africa. She'll be traveling to Miami this November for a half-Ironman triathlon. We asked her if she could pick any sport, what would be her favorite thing. She gave us a strange answer. She said "My favorite thing is the excitement of helping others to reach their fitness goals, and get into the best shape of their lives." That's why Pam is part of the team at Blue Springs Fitnes, and that's why we feel so lucky to have her.

Pam still has all this energy even though she is a mother of six, and even has a new grandson. She loves sharing her experience with new mothers who are looking to get back in shape after a baby. Since she came to BSF she's made a big impact on a lot of members, and started a lot of new programs. Some of the new things she's done include special weight loss classes, outdoor training, and bringing in a Zumba instructor, Ann Marie, with some very special credentials. Pam is very creative and she loves to hear new ideas for classes, try out new things, and meet new peeople. If you don't know Pam yet, be sure you stop by a class and say hello!
